Mastery Groups

A Mastery Group is a study group of 6-10 individuals, each highly committed to developing their self-knowledge and personal leadership abilities. They join a group to study, apply, and master the Responsibility Method in their lives and work. These individuals commit to meeting together in a regular series (bi-weekly or monthly), for 90-150 minutes per meeting.

Mastery develops leadership by expanding the capacity of the individual to take ownership for both problems and opportunities. This is one of the most common descriptions of leadership: Leaders embrace responsibility (aka change, opportunity, problems). A Mastery Group is effective due to the leverage it brings. The keys to responsibility include intention, awareness, and confronting reality. Committing to study in, and with, a group leverages all three.
