The rule was that you don't get to abuse the house by slamming doors. If you have trouble remembering to keep it tempered down, he'll remove your door for safe keeping. With 6 teenagers he did it exactly 6 times. Once they lived without a door for a week, they were much more careful about slamming outbursts.
