- How to coach others to use and adopt the model- The concept and role of gift giving and shared responsibility- How to overcome the counter-intuitive preference (to me anyway) of POWER-Over and POWER-TO/BY to POWER-WITH- Kenneth Boulding's 3 Faces of Power in relation to your work- How to use the model when faced with uncertainty- Cognitive biases and how to leverage them instead of succumb to them- Any research work you are doing which might help others

Hi Portia,

Thanks for your investment in listening as well as listening for what else you would want to learn.

May I ask you to say a few more words about some of your bullet points? For instance, tell me what you mean about "how to use the model when faced with uncertainty" and "cognitive biases and how to leverage them . . ."

Thanks!
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

I've since listened to Demonstrating Responsibility: The Mindset of Agile Leader (http://www.christopheravery.com/store/agile2007audio.html) and really enjoyed it.

Here are some of the things I'm interested in hearing more about in relation to the Responsibility Redefined model:

- How to coach others to use and adopt the model
- The concept and role of gift giving and shared responsibility
- How to overcome the counter-intuitive preference (to me anyway) of POWER-Over and POWER-TO/BY to POWER-WITH
- Kenneth Boulding's 3 Faces of Power in relation to your work
- How to use the model when faced with uncertainty
- Cognitive biases and how to leverage them instead of succumb to them
- Any research work you're doing which might help others

I'll be sure to post more comments as ideas come up.

Christopher,

I have seen you present responsibility redefined 3 times and I love it. I will come everytime you do it. That said, if I have the opportunity to influence your thinking, I would love you see you take it in a different direction. I think your suggestion about Unlocking your Personal Agility sounds great. Looking forward to seeing you again and hearing you speak!
